The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) will be
held in Baltimore 19th-23rd April, 2010. For those
of you who attended ARO last February, it will be
held in the same hotel, on the waterfront.
Two highlights:
**The Psychological and Physiological Acoustics
section of ASA is sponsoring special sessions
on:
1) Noise-induced hearing loss: From physiology
to prevention (Organized by Sharon Kujawa and Kim
Schairer)
2) Music and the brain: Neural bases and effects of
hearing loss (Organized by Xiaoqin Wang, Martin
McKinney and Kelly Fitz)
3) Applications of auditory models to hearing aids
(Organized by Brent Edwards)
**Former ARO Special Merit Award winner, Bill
Rhode, will be awarded the ASA von Bekesy
Medal.
The deadline for submitting abstracts is next
