THE NIDCD SMALL GRANT PROGRAM
(R03)
The NIDCD continues to encourage beginning
investigators to apply for research support through
our NIDCD-specific R03 Program (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-04-062.html).
The NIDCD R03 program is different from the more
generic NIH-wide R03 in that it is targeted to
support basic and clinical research of scientists
in the early stages of establishing their research
career.
NIDCD would like to emphasize the dates NIDCD
R03 applications must be received by the NIH in
order to avoid delays in review. NIDCD R03
applications must be received by the NIH on or
before the published receipt dates. The remaining
receipt dates are as follows:
APPLICATION RECEIPT DATES:
2005
November 15
2006
March 15
July 14
November 15
New and revised applications must be received by
the NIH on or before the dates listed above.
Example: For the November 15, 2005 receipt
date, your application must be mailed so that it is
received by the NIH no later than November 15,
2005. Personally delivered applications are no
longer accepted by the NIH.
We hope this reminder will make the NIDCD R03
application process a smoother and more pleasant
experience. Investigators with questions about the
NIDCD Small Grant program are encouraged to contact
the NIDCD coordinator of that program:
