UCONN NEUROSCIENCE IN SALAMANCA
SPAIN
SUMMER 2010
Study Neuroscience in Spain this summer in a
program offered by the University of Connecticut
(UCONN) and the Institute for Neuroscience of
Castilla y Leon (INCyL) at the University of
Salamanca (USAL). This is a 5-week program is
designed for USA, Canadian, and European 3rd, 4th,
and 5th year undergraduate students in
Neuroscience, Pre-Medical Biology, Molecular
Biology, Biomedical Engineer, and Audiology majors;
and Graduate students in Neuroscience and Hearing
Research. Choose one of two, 3-credit neurobiology
courses taught in English by UCONN and USAL
faculty: Biology of the Brain (introductory
undergraduate neurobiology course) or Neurobiology
of Hearing (honors undergraduate & graduate
research-level course). All students take the
3-credit Introduction to Spanish for Pre-Med
Students and Scientists or an advance Spanish
course taught by USAL faculty.
Applications, transcripts, letters of
recommendation, and deposits are due February
16.
