ARO Young Investigator Award Nominations

Call for Nominations for the 2020 Geraldine Dietz Fox Young Investigator Award

Nominations are sought for the Geraldine Dietz Fox Young Investigator Award, to be presented at the 2020 Annual Midwinter Meeting of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology, Jan. 25-29, 2020 in San Jose, CA.  Candidates should have a graduate degree (PhD, MD or equivalent), show accomplishment and promise in research related to otolaryngology, and be no more than 5 years beyond residency or postdoctoral training at the time of nomination.  ARO membership is not required for either nominees or nominators. See previous recipients, and background on Gerry Fox and the Young Investigator Award on the Johns Hopkins website.    

The nominator should submit in pdf format and all at once  (preferably combined in one pdf):     

  1. a letter of nomination that includes a description of the research contributions and potential
  2. the nominee’s CV
  3. one additional letter of support, which can have more than one signature if desired 

Nominations will be evaluated by the ARO Award of Merit Committee.
