42nd Annual MidWinter Meeting 2019, Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.
Travel Awards Call for Applications is September 1 - September 30, 2018
For graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, residents, and audiologists, attendance at the MidWinter Meeting provides important exposure to research in the otolaryngology field and to the scientists who undertake that research. For this reason, the ARO has, for many years, offered travel awards to help with the costs associated with attending the meeting. The funds for the awards come from generous donations from various companies, institutions and benefactors (Fondation Pour l'Audition; Don Henderson Travel Award Fund).
The ARO is committed to inclusiveness, as such individuals with a disability (e.g. loss of hearing, vision, or mobility, as well as individuals with a psychiatric or learning disability) and individuals from groups historically under-represented in the biomedical sciences (e.g. African American, Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan native, or Pacific Islander) are highly encouraged to apply.
All applicants must be a current ARO member at the time of application and at the time of the 2019 MidWinter Meeting.
Travel Award Categories include:
Graduate Student/Postdoctoral Fellow
Resident/Medical Student
Audiologist
The application period is September 1 - September 30, 2018
Applicants will be notified in December regarding award status.
